1959 Ford Thunderbird Convertible Beautiful freshly restored 1959 Ford Thunderbird convertible.

It is a stock original 71,300 mile. Only 10,261 convertible Thunderbirds were made in 1959 and this one is an exceptional example. It is in clean beautiful condition, with an accident free straight as an arrow and solid rust-free Southwest body. It

has stunning new factory correct black paint with clear coat. The original pot metal trim and chrome is in incredible original non-pitted condition! The stainless is bright and both bumpers front and rear sport original chrome and are near perfect. The factory wheel covers are New Old Stock and perfect.

This T-Bird has a beautiful new convertible top in the original black color, all new convertible top seals and related deck lid seals. The power top works perfectly with a new motor/pump and hoses. The factory original interior is in very good condition with some minor touch-ups where necessary and new carpeting. The trunk has a complete new panel, tire cover, and mat set and looks great.

Included is the original spare tire and accessory pattern matching jack tool bag with jack etc. The underside of the deck lid and the door jams are still the factory original paint and in very nice condition.

In this 1967 Continental convertible all that they learned is embodied into this magnificent car. The top can be retract from a simple UP/DOWN switch within easy reach of the driver or outside the car by simply inserting the trunk key into a key lock a few inches from the gas filler door located at the rear of the driver ’s side of this incredible example of 1960’s mechanical art.

The paint on this car in a word is “breathtaking ”Royal Maroon was a rare and extremely elegant Lincoln color for 1967! The body panels fit fabulous and the sides of this car are arrow-straight. The chrome and trim are in show condition and the leather interior, carpeting and dash are magnificent. The engine compartment, underside of the hood and the entire trunk area when the top disappears is beautifully detailed.

This is an exeptionnal corniche 1978 with only 46000 original miles!

Here is a list of what was done on the car, A) new tan top, B) New headliner, C) Wooden top bow all new, D) Body was strip to bare metal and epoxy prime, E) Repainted in a beautiful blue, F) Complete mechanic inspection, changed all fluid and verified all the pump and hydraulic

system. Everything works as it should, all the stainless trim has been polish to a high quality shine. As you can see on the picture the paint (professional respray), the interior is all original and look beautiful. The carpet also are original and like new, same for the trunk area and the engine bay.

Well this car drove beautifully with no hesitation just like a Royce should be. I did over 3000 miles with no problem at all, very smooth ride and solid. I do have some picture showing the car in bare metal, body job progress etc.
