Used 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu, 156 miles, Red

The M10 2.0-liter inline-four engine features a higher-than-stock 9.5:1 compression ratio and the eight-valve cylinder head houses a Schrick 304 camshaft for greater airflow potential.

the original induction system has been upgraded with an Extrude Hone-ported intake manifold and a Weber 38 DGAS carburetor. A custom-built free-flowing exhaust

system was added and a recurved 2002tii distributor with a Pertronix ignition module helps boost output past the original rating of 99 horsepower. The four-speed Getrag manual transmission benefits from a lightweight flywheel. All the glass is said to be in very good condition and showcase the tall greenhouse and pillars that provide an unobstructed view that marks one of the elements of this original-era Ultimate Driving Machine.

The original bumpers and other trim show no rust or corrosion. The Tan interior has been updated with a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, matching shift knob and newer bucket seats by König and the rear seat has been re-upholstered to match the front seats.

Champion Performance in Centerline, Michigan professionally built the engine. The engine was blueprinted and balanced. High-performance components include an Ohio stroker crankshaft and “H beam” connecting

rods, a Comp Cams roller camshaft, 9.7:1 JE forged pistons, aluminum Cobra Jet cylinder heads, high-performance valve train, and a massive Pro Systems 1150-cfm carburetor. Ceramic-coated headers handle the spent gases. The engine produced 613 horsepower and 589 lb-ft of torque on the dyno.

no smoke or leaks. The high performance C6 three-speed automatic transmission has an ATI torque converter and is said to shift very quickly! The engine and transmission have about 1,200 miles on them. The flames are Matrix custom purple pearl accented with Process Blue pinstriping. The paint job is older (1999), but it’s in “great condition” except for a few touched-up chips.

The 350-cu.

in. small-block V-8 engine under the Chevelle’s hood is original and has not been rebuilt. The original intake and Rochester two-barrel carburetor have been replaced with an Edelbrock manifold and four-barrel carburetor (the original intake and carburetor have been retained and are available). The engine is said to start easily

and run well! The transmission is reported to shift “smoothly and crisply” through all of the gears. The car rolled out of the factory in Gulf Green, but was repainted Verdoro Green Metallic in 1998. The finish remains “pristine, ” with no dents, no scratches and no rust, but with a few stone chips from highway driving.

The glass and chrome are also said to be in great condition. The windshield has been replaced, but the rest of the glass is reported to be original, with no cracks or scratches noted. The window seals and moldings are also said to be in very good condition and a passenger’s side rearview mirror was added. All of the exterior lighting reportedly works normally.

Used 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu, 66,607 miles, Green

One of 2,934 such cars produced that year, this 1957 Pontiac Chieftain Safari two-door station wagon is presented as a functional car with its original engine.

It has benefited from recent mechanical attention. The Chieftain Safari was powered in 1957 by Pontiac’s 347-cu. in. OHV V-8. With a compression ratio of 10.0:1 when mated to the Hydra-Matic

transmission and a Rochester 2GC two-barrel carburetor, the Pontiac V-8 was rated by the manufacturer at 252 horsepower when new. The engine in this Chieftain Safari is said to be original to the car, with no stated rebuild history. Rapid start and no functional issues with the Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission, with no powertrain leaks noted.

The engine bay presents as being stock and acceptably clean, in the provided photos. the body seals and weatherstripping are in leak-free condition, and states further that the car is free of rust. The chrome trim, including the massive side sweeps, appears to be straight and in very good, undamaged condition. The Chieftain Safari is

now outfitted with Oldsmobile flipper wheel covers. The grille looks to be free of damage. The seller reports the glass is in very good condition, and states that all lighting is functional.

the vinyl interior facings have been replaced. The materials present as being in excellent condition, with no tears or discoloration visible in the photos. The carpeting and headliner are reported to be in overall good condition. The steel dashboard, with a crack-free padded top, appears to be missing none of its trim, including the large, metalized insert, and presents strongly. All the instrumentation is reported to be properly operable except for the factory AM radio. The heater is termed operable.

The cargo area is fully carpeted and presents as being strongly clean.

the Pontiac’s springs and shock absorbers are entirely new and he reports no damage or modification to other existing components. The hydraulic drum brakes are also new, but will require adjustment. The manual steering is reported to function properly. The whitewall tires are reported to be new.

Used 1957 Pontiac Chieftain 5,334 miles, Black

This Land Rover Series IIA is fitted with a 2.6-liter inline six-cylinder petrol engine.

The VIN corresponds with a 109-inch wheelbase and a six-cylinder from the factory. the engine has recently had a coolant flush, oil change, and a Stromberg carburetor in the last six months. The engine bay appears to be clean and looked after. The transmission

is a four-speed manual, hitched to a 2WD and 4WD transfer case, with two ranges, a neutral position and a provision for a PTO. The Marine Blue paint carries through to the interior on the dash, cab interior and inner door panels. The upholstery is black vinyl on the three seating positions, all of which appears to be in excellent condition with no damage in the photos.

The floor is covered by a fitted black rubber mat, which shows no wear. The dash features defroster ducts and levers to open the windshield frame vents. The instrument panel has two Jaeger gauge faces, one housing a water temp and fuel gauge with a warning light for charging, the other with a speedometer and warning lights

for oil pressure, cold start (mostly for diesels) and the high beams. The wipers, side lights and main lights are all operated via toggle switches, and the left side of the panel includes sockets for 12-volt banana plugs.

The engine in the Pacific was Packard’s L-head straight-eight, displacing 359 cubic inches.

With a compression ratio of 8.7:1, the engine received its fuel mixture via a Carter four-barrel carburetor and was rated by the manufacturer at 212 horsepower. The engine in this Pacific is said to be original to the car, to retain its original factory

aluminum cylinder head, and start readily. The two-speed Ultramatic transmission in this car has been replaced by a newer Borg-Warner unit with three forward speeds plus overdrive. this Pacific was repainted three years ago in its original factory colors using PPG two-stage finishes.

The chrome appears to be complete and in very good condition, including the side spear, which look to be straight and undamaged. The hood ornament is specific to the large-engine 1954 Packard models. The underside is impressively clean with scant evidence of surface corrosion. The seat facings and interior panels are said to be newly covered in Pacific-specific upholstery using OEM materials. These materials

present as new, with no evidence of tears or wear. The front seat has been fitted with seat belts. The carpeting is also said to be new and presents as in excellent shape.

The headliner is reportedly original and said to be free of wrinkles and sags. The painted steel dashboard looks all but flawless, with excellent small controls and no indications that any trim is missing. The gauges present well, are said to be fully functional, and the Pacific also has its factory AM radio. The hydraulically operated window lifts are said to all operate properly. The car’s heater is functional.

Used 1954 85,000 miles Green

Pickups in the L-110 series were powered by the IH L-head straight-six, displacing 220.5 cubic inches for this application.

With a compression ratio of 6.5:1, the IH six utilized full-pressure lubrication to the main, rod and piston-pin bearings, had a six-volt electrical system and was rated by the manufacturer at 100 horsepower. the engine

in this L-110 is original to the truck. Its mechanical rebuild included internal balancing and the fitment of pistons to a.030-inch overbore. The truck also has a new 12-volt wiring harness. Starting the engine involves flipping on an electric fuel pump and waiting 15 seconds to crank the engine.

No issues are reported with the three-speed manual transmission. The clutch and flywheel have been replaced! The yellow paint on this pickup is described as being in excellent condition!

Used 1953 53,442 miles Yellow

The 255-cu.

in. flathead V-8 is believed to be original to the car, and has been converted to a 12-volt electrical system. The engine has Fenton headers and a dual exhaust system with Smitty mufflers. The seller reports that the engine has not been rebuilt during his ownership and he does not know of any rebuild history. He says he installed

a 12-volt priming pump “to aid the stock fuel pump on cold starts after long periods of inactivity. ” The car has an automatic choke, and the seller notes a puff of smoke on cold startup. There are some drops of oil from the engine and the rebuilt three-speed manual transmission with overdrive reportedly “shifts well.

” The original cloth upholstery is protected by clear vinyl seat covers on both bench seats. The seller reports a tear in the seat cover on the back of the driver’s side. He says the carpet condition is good and there are no sags, tears, or stains on the headliner. The oil pressure gauge and the clock don’t currently work. A large Stewart-Warner tachometer is

mounted to the steering column. This modified Mercury has been lowered slightly with Fatman dropped front spindles and Posies Superglide rear springs with lowering blocks in back.

The seller notes “some play” in the steering, but says the steering wheel “points straight and the car drives great. ” The suspension components are lubed as part of regular oil changes. The shocks have been replaced and the rest of the suspension is in good condition, according to the seller. The age of the tires is estimated at 20 years, but the remaining tread depth is “like new. ” The period-correct wheel covers are from a 1957 Cadillac.

Used 1950 106,000 miles Green

The engine is reported to be a new ZZ4 350-cu.

in. crate V-8 with a mild camshaft, roller rocker arms, an Edelbrock intake/carburetor, and ceramic-coated headers, with a serpentine belt system. The dual exhaust system uses Flowmaster mufflers. estimates horsepower at 355 and pegs miles used at 2,000. The transmission is a rebuilt two-speed Powerglide

automatic with a shift kit that the seller says “allows it to shift better than when new. ” Du Pont calls the red paint hue on this Nova Inferno Red. It’s a three-stage paint that was applied in 2003, the paint condition is “excellent, ” with no blemishes.

The convertible top and all related hoses and pumps were installed during the restoration and are “still like new, ” A new windshield and seals keep the car leak-free. As for rust. The bumpers, grille, and trim pieces were rechromed during the restoration. The interior was all new and done to factory specs. The interior trim is new and all the lights function correctly. The doors have power locks, but the windows are manually

operated. An updated underdash air-conditioning system was added. The stereo and CD player are from Custom Auto Sound. There is a factory center console that surrounds the shifter for the Powerglide transmission.

Used 1963 Chevrolet Nova 2,000 miles, Red

Oldsmobile’s V-8 displaced 324 cubic inches in 1956 and for the Super 88, received four-barrel carburetion in the form of the Rochester 4GC Quadrajet.

With a compression ratio of 9.25:1, the Super 88 engine was rated by the manufacturer at 240 horsepower. The engine in this Super 88 is claimed to be original to the car and the engine is said

to start immediately, without smoke, after the accelerator is pumped twice. the carburetor has been rebuilt. The Hydra-Matic transmission is described as changing gears properly. The engine bay is stock and appears spotless. free of rust. The interior seals and weatherstripping are reported to be in good shape. The glass is said to be original!

Used 1956 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight 37,618 miles, White

“The engine runs great and there is no smoke, ” Its Powerglide two-speed automatic was replaced with a Turbo Hydra-Matic 350 three-speed transmission before i bought the RS, and he has paperwork that says it was rebuilt in 2003.

It “shifts great, ” he notes, “but it goes into second gear a little hard if you're accelerating quickly.

” the seals appear to be good and the trunk seal was replaced in 2005. He warns, however, “Being a convertible from the 1960s, there’s never a solid seal with the window glass and top. ” He confirms that all the lights work and the automatic headlight covers open and close.

For even cooler warm-weather cruising, the previous owner installed a Vintage Air A/C system. The steering wheel has been replaced and seat upholstery issues are limited to a small cut at the front edge of the driver’s seat. There is wear on the carpet, but a new one is included in the sale. The heat, A/C, crank windows, door locks, and instruments are said to be operable. The speedometer has been recalibrated for accuracy, and the driver’s-side window “can be a little hard to roll up. ”
