It's not a show car but a real looker and superb driver. While not a full restoration it is extremely well taken care of with numerous upgrades. Upgrades include a 5 speed tranmission, rebuilt engine and suspension. The electronic fuel injection

Used 1979 MG Midget 64,000 miles, Blue

Car is finished in its original, and rare exterior color of Tyrolite Green with gray interior, top, side curtain bag and gray loop-pile carpet.

The seats and birdpit rail sections are gray leather as original. The car rides on Coker Classic 165R15 wide white wall radials fitted on wire wheels. Period accessories fitted to the car include wind

wings, sun visors, badge bar, tripod headlamps, gray seat belts and amber foglamps. Refinished boot includes a wide whitewall period correct bias-ply spare, hand crank and correct gray spare wheel cover. Engine is original to the car and the engine number is stamped on the original VIN plate affixed to the car as is the case with earlier cars.

The letter �T� in the VIN number represents the exterior color of a MGA 1500, Tyrolite Green. An original factory leather key fob with comes with the car along with a set of never used OEM BMC gray side curtains in the original BMC marked boxes. The previous owner fitted a new master cylinder, new brake cylinders and new clutch slave cylinder.

Silicone brake fluid is used. Under my ownership repaint of the dash, rocker panels, heater shelf, door stiffener bars, front splash plates and the entire boot area was completed.

Finisher strips were fitted and painted to match the car as original. The heater was removed, cleaned, pressure tested, painted and reinstalled in operating condition. A new set of firewall grommets were installed along with correct air ducts. An incorrect Smiths speedometer was replaced with a correct Jaeger unit rebuilt by Nisonger Instruments. The fuel sending unit was refurbished to return the fuel gauge to full functionality. The car has a clean Maryland title and is available to be seen just north of Baltimore, Maryland. Original 1959 MGA 1600.

This car has been in the family for 40+ years. it was handed down from my father in law to my wife. I am not a MGA guy and don't know much about them however I have done my best with it. I have changed the SU carbs(saved carbs) for a Holly. I have converted the two 6 volts to a 12 volt battery. The water pump, radiator

and fan have all been replaced. We have the top my need to be replaced maybe cleaned? clutch was replaced in 2017 I have new carpet ready to go in. I don�t know the history of the car but from what I have been able to find out it has always been in California.

ODO reads 30,954 but I think it has been around once. The car starts and runs well; shifts into all gears including OD. This is a partial restoration. What I have done: � Brakeso New master cylinder and vacuum boostero New front

calipers and rear wheel cylinders. o All new steel tubing. New braided stainless steel flex lines. � Front suspension and steering kit from TRF, New springs. � Rear suspension rebuild with Good Parts axels, New springs. � Installed spin on oil filter.

� Box welded differential mounts. � Differential cleaned and resealed. Drain plug added. � New drive shaft. � New alloy fuel tank. I also have the original tank. � New fuel lines� Webber down draft carburetors from Pierce Manifolds (yes, I still have the original carbs). � Wheels stripped and power coated. New tires. The spare is an original 1970s redline good to use as a decoration on the wall of your garage. � New

65 amp alternator. Still have the original 35 amp alternator. � Electric pusher fan fitted. � I have modified the electrical system a bit (I�m a retired electrical engineer and can�t help myself).

� I have lots of extra parts both new and old. What the car needs� Interior: Seats are good. Needs carpets, side and back panels, door seals. � Top: I have the frame for the soft top but not the top. I also have a factory hard top but it is not in very good shape. It has a rust spot on the front right corner and needs a headliner. It does have all the factory glass. � Paint is not good. It was repainted once and has been touched up (understatement) in several areas. � Front

was aligned after rebuild but rear was not. � Windshield wiper motor needs to be replaced; I have a new one but have not installed it.

� Windshield frame has rust on bottom but I have a good used frame and glass. � I have stopped leaks from the differential and trans but there are still leaks that I think are main seals.
